Objective:
Create a habit-forming app and non GUI product based on the hooked model
Deliverables:
App:
Storyboard, MSCW Method, Sitemap, Wireframes, Prototype
Non GUI product:
Storyboard, Risky Assumptions, Pretotyping experiment with results
Solution:
An app where user’s can input their water intake and keep track of their daily, weekly, and monthly water goals. The app includes a friend circle that allows for users to view their friend’s profile to keep an eye on their water intake. Users and their friends will be motivated to drink more water through different type of app notifications.
Problem Statement:
How might I increase peoples daily intake of water?
Storyboard:
While the user is on the computer, his phone notifies him that one of his friends has met their daily water goal. This notification has triggered him into shock, because it is mid afternoon and he hasn’t any water to drink. He responds by drinking water and adding that amount to his water app. As the app animates, letting him know he is closer to his goal, he finally feels satisfied knowing that him and his friends are working towards increasing their daily water intake.
